I spent most of the day avoiding the conversation in the air. I’d rather their reverberations of thought. I walked up to my mentor through travel and tribulation and shared a deep hug. we both needed to be present. The seams are numbered, but this stretch of time seemed too long. I feel like I wait a lot through life. I listen, and I experience. I don’t want to have to wear high heels to be heard.
