Karen Cygnarowicz is a poet and visual artist, whose work begins at a place of inquiry and explores what it means to be human.

Her visual art takes on a range of media: paint, photography, and in recent years, fiber, weaving, knot-tying. Her poetry tends to be a form of processing, a self-practice. In an effort to support the arts, she has worked for Vermont College of Fine Arts, WildCraft Studio School, and Modern Macramé.

Visit her shop, WILD LIGHT DESIGN, an evolution of the business of art since founded in 2012.

She earned her MFA in 2017, and currently resides in Vermont.
