I didn't see you again that night, but later in life we met at a sports' bar and you didn't buy me a drink but I stood outside in the cold while you smoked a cigarette and I didn't. we talked about nothing until you asked me why I was with him, and I started a sentence that you interrupted. we said goodbye twice that night, and we each went home to our others and I never saw you again.
