I read an article recently published by an independent news site filtered through good intentions, but even after I had once-upon-a-time committed myself to work for them as an editor I still do not understand what they are doing. The article had a "sexy” title, so I clicked on it, and the first line read, “How you do anything is how you do everything.” I didn’t read the article. Do I judge the book by the cover? This is how I buy wine, chocolate, and sometimes jarred Mayonnaise, because if there is eggs in something I want to know where it came from. In reading “How you do anything is how you do everything” over and over, what does that mean? I ask myself this question when eating a banana. I ask myself this question when showering. I ask myself this question when I cannot fall asleep. When I listen. When I love. When I feel something about anything. How do you do?
