you know those waxy paper cups?
it's like water
station sadness.
there is something about
the lack of wood in them
that makes me put them on
the shelf of: I will never
touch them.
the shelf
does not speak
but speaks volumes,
holding all the books, like broccoli,
I only feel guilty when I don't read.
