KAREN CYGNAROWICZ is an artist and writer whose practice is in relationship to her experiences in nature, meditation, and the mundane. In an effort to support the arts, she has worked in various capacities for Vermont College of Fine Arts, WildCraft Studio School, Modern Macramé, and The Front Gallery. In 2012, she founded WILD LIGHT DESIGN, an evolution of her art business, which is a shop and a space to share interviews of writers and artists. In 2017, she earned her MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her writing appears in The Rumpus, Wanderlust, Past Ten, and more, and her artwork is currently showing at Burlington City Arts, Studio Place Arts, and Firefolk Arts. She serves on staff for the Vermont Commission on Women, and lives in Montpelier, Vermont with her dog, Luck.
